Lower Burrell Parks

There are five parks within the town of Lower Burrell, each offering its own area for recreation and leisure. Burrell Lake Park is near Holtzhauer Lake, providing a scenic venue for a relaxed picnic on the water and a casual stroll. The two fireman's parks, Braeview and Kinloch, offer play structures for children and adequate space to play team and field sports. The K-9 Park is a dog park where you can take your best furry companion for a walk or a throw with the ball. Finally, Veteran's Memorial Park has a paved trail that you can walk or bike.

Restaurants in Lower

There is no shortage of casual, affordable places to dine in Lower Burrell. There are plenty of different options, including cafes, diners, Italian pizzerias, family-style Chinese, and a number of recognizable chain establishments that offer quick or sit-down service. If you and your family cannot decide at what kind of place you'd like to dine out for the evening, there are places that offer a range of different options. Sports Town Pizza & Grill, for example, has pizza as well as burgers on the menu, and more generally a range of all-American melting pot fare.

Hole in the Wall Gall

Hole in the Wall Gallery is a fun boutique with catchy items that range from unique jewelry to funky home decor to local works by artisans from the area. You can find everything here, including exotic body butter for some extra pampering, a fun-shaped wall clock or lampshade, larger furniture items that have a vintage or antique feel, and handmade hats and scarves to keep you warm during the chillier months of the year. The shop has been around since 1971, a benefit that is truly a testament to its long-standing popularity with locals and visitors alike. It is definitely a step out of the ordinary for shoppers!
