All About Loveland
Located nearly equidistant south and west of Fort Collins and Greeley respectively, this town of 60,000 in the Front Range Urban Corridor is back dropped by one of the most visited and most picturesque mountain ranges in the world. Early in its history, Loveland saw its largely agrarian economy wax and wane as droughts and freezes finally ended the once strong production of cherries and sugar beets. Today, a majority of the local jobs are found in medicine at the McKee Medical Center, and in electronics at the Hewlett-Packard plant. The Promenade Shops at Centerra serves as an economic and social cornerstone of the city. The mall houses numerous shopping attractions that include sporting goods, clothing, books, and home goods, plus several eateries. Theatres, health stores, and the Medical Center at Centerra are all nearby. Talk of shopping would be incomplete without mentioning the Outlets at Loveland, which features the best in designer apparel at basement prices. Plus, the city is served by the COLT bus system, and lies southwest of the Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport.
Beautiful - All Year Round
Not only does an apartment in Loveland mean great access to quality shopping and healthcare, it means being nearby one of the largest and most-visited National Parks in the country. Rocky Mountain National Park leaves more than three million visitors in awe every year. Lakes and streams punctuate the dramatic, jagged landscape. The Park is home to one of Colorado's famous fourteeners, Long's Peak, and from your new apartment, its right in your backyard. Visitors to Rocky Mountain National Park enjoy a variety of activities including camping, bird and wildlife watching, and fishing. Hiking and backpacking are also top-draws as the Park features 350 miles of trails. Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing make the area a popular attraction, even in the coldest, wettest months.

How much should I expect to pay for utilities in Loveland each month, depending on the time of year?
Because of the hot summers and cold winters in Loveland, monthly utilities will vary drastically by season. The gas bill will be highest in winter, when the heat will be used without fail, and the electric bill will be highest in summer, when it's necessary to use the air conditioning. Also, it depends on the size of your house or apartment, the number of people living in your unit, and whether or not heat is included. For a family of three, gas can be as high as $150 a month in winter and as low as $25 a month in summer, while electricity can be as low as $60 a month in winter and as high as $150 a month in summer. Water should be about $50 a month, but will be higher in the summer if sprinklers are used.
