When Interstate 35 and Loop 1604 began construction in the area, the town started to grow and businesses started to establish themselves here with more and more people able to reach the city with ease. As time went by, large residential neighborhoods and shopping complexes began make their way into Live Oak in order to meet the needs of the rapid growing population.
