Sri Siva Vishnu Templ

You do not have to practice Hindu in order to appreciate what the Sri Siva Vishnu Temple has to offer visitors. The temple features Indian architecture that allows for a very distinctive visual presentation in the midst of an American suburban backdrop. It adds welcomed cultural flavor and favorable attention to the area. Within the temple itself, visitors and worshippers will note the various religious deities found in the Hindu religion, including Rama, Vishnu, and Parvathi. This is a great place to experience the diversity found in the area, as well as learn a bit about one of the major religions of the world.

Greenbelt Park

When it is time to pack up the family and enjoy a bit of what nature has to offer, there is no better place to accomplish this than Greenbelt Park. The park is open throughout the year, so you do not even have to worry about availability when the temperatures begin to drop. Greenbelt itself is a terrific woodland area that offers 174 campsites. Visitors will find miles of hiking trails, playgrounds for the kids and areas to enjoy a picnic or two. There are also recreational facilities on the grounds, including basketball courts and athletic fields.
