The Bouleard at the C

Every community needs a mall that residents and visitors can shop and gather. Landover is no exception and the local certainly finds enjoyable service with the Boulevard at the Capital Centre, with a slight twist. Take your everyday mall and remove the roof and you have what you will experience at this shopping haven. This is an open-air shopping complex, but not of the strip mall variety. Here you will find all the shops and entertainment stops that you are familiar with when you head to a mall. You can also find Magic Johnson Theatres, offering the latest cinematic releases for a day of shopping and entertainment.

Beall's Pleasure

One of the pleasures of being in the Washington D.C. area is all of the historic attractions that are available for visitors and residents to experience. Such is the case with Beall’s Pleasure. This is a home that was built in 1795, with the location served as the summer residence for former secretary of the navy, Benjamin Stoddert, the very first person to hold this esteemed position. The two-story brick home is a masterpiece of period architecture. Equally, the home is a remarkable example of historic preservation considering it is over 200 years old.
