Downtown Lake Oswego

Shopaholics find ample opportunity to get their retail fix in this lakeside town. For a great shopping experience, there is no better place in the area than downtown Lake Oswego. Featuring a variety of shopping opportunities located right on the scenic lake, locals can explore one of the many specialty shops, dine at a cafe, enjoy talented entertainers, or even set up their own business right in the lakefront business area. With various shopping districts with a district downtown, including the always-popular Lake View Village and Millennium Park, Lake Oswego residents always have a place to go to shop till they drop.

Getting Back to Natur

With just over 20 different public parks in the community, it is easy to get out and enjoy all the nature Lake Oswego has to offer. Each park features something different for residents, with many of them being located in various neighborhoods throughout Lake Oswego. Locals can go hiking, wildlife viewing, boating, and so much more. Children can take part in the various activities put on by the parks and rec department, including little league. You will also find many playgrounds to keep the younger kids entertained.

Luscher Farms

Luscher Farms helps bring the city of Lake Oswego back to a simpler time. The farm hosts several different classes for the community, with some involving crafting and others exploring the history of the farm, how it came to be, and the area in which it is settled in. Schools can bring students out to the farm for field trips where they will learn all about agriculture, raising livestock, and gardening. You can also take part in a community garden that the farm plants each year, which brings locals together and allows everyone to enjoy fine fresh organic produce.
