Lake Forest is situated in South Orange County and has a population of just over 78,000 people. It lies inland and is due east from Newport Beach. Portions of the city are master planned communities, it has an upscale lifestyle and is considered in many reports to be one of the safest cities in the country. There are two large man made lakes and that's where the city gets its name. The forest is mostly eucalyptus trees which provides for a beautiful setting.
