Dubbed one of the best Broadway style houses in Southern California by the Los Angeles Times, the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts attracts visitors from all around the Los Angeles area. For over 100 years, Biola University has been educating students from both the La Mirada community and all around the world. Biola is a private, evangelical Christian university, originally founded in 1908 as the Bible Institute of Los Angeles (BIOLA).
