Desert Diamond Distil

It is not every day that you can have the chance to visit a distillery and taste the products it produces. You can in Kingman with a visit to the Desert Diamond Distillery. Most distilleries are closed to the public, but at Diamond, you are openly welcomed to come and see for yourself how great tasting rum is made. This is a working distillery, so what you will see is the real production of wares to be sold commercially. Naturally, Diamond’s has tasting and retail areas that provide visitors the opportunity to take a few gifts home with them.

Mohave Museum of Hist

The Mohave Museum of History and Arts is a venue that showcases and preserves the history primarily centered around Northwestern Arizona. The museum utilizes terrific artwork in the form of elaborate murals and vivid dioramas that beautifully depict historic imagery. Visitors will also find various exhibits and displays that provide illuminating information about the history, culture, and people of the area. Many exhibits are actually outside the main building, such as the mining machines and even a real railroad caboose. A visit to this museum is an enjoyable experience for the entire family and just happens to be an educational outing as well.
