About Kenosha, WI
Located directly on beautiful Lake Michigan, and half way between Chicago and Milwaukee, Kenosha has an amazing location. The community offers numerous parks with over 40 baseball fields, soccer fields and volleyball courts. Plus, there is certainly no shortage of walking, biking and hiking trails. Check out the charming downtown area full of restaurants, shopping and antiquing. Nearby, there is the Kenosha Regional Airport as well as the Kenosha Medical Center Campus.
Getting Around in Kenosha, WI

Although Kenosha is a car dependent city, you can still get around fairly well using the public transit system. The main downside to the system however, is it's limited hours of operation. If you are looking to walk around and do a little window shopping, downtown is your best bet.

A Taste of Wisconsin

<p>With almost 30 thousand people in attendance, this festival is one that deserves a category all its own. 25+ Food Vendors, over 80 Entertainers, A Demo Center, a Kids Zone, the list literally does go on. This annual, all weekend event is held at the end of July, so don't forget to unpack your summer shorts so you can enjoy the perfect Wisconsin weather. This young (only 5 years old!) festival is growing rapidly, so be sure to mark it down on your calendars! It's headed towards being a Kenosha tradition.</p>

<p>Get out - "outside," that is. Kenosha has you covered with a number of outdoor activities. Looking to Cross-Country Ski? Check out Silver Lake County Park. What about Mountain Biking? Petrifying Springs County park. Hiking? Fox River Park. If you are looking for something more "maintained" look no further then Prairie Springs Park - it's new and mostly man made. When it comes to getting out - there are no shortages of places in Kenosha.</p>
