Is Kaufman pet friendly?
Kaufman isn't the best place for pets. First of all, it isn't home to any official off-leash dog areas, and there are few parks in town where you can bring your pets on-leash. Shannon Park might be the only option in that regard. If you have a sizeable yard, this might not pose much of an issue, but it will if you don't. If you're willing to get out of the city, one good place to go in the area is Purtis Creek State Park, located 40 minutes southeast of Kaufman in Eustace.
