The department offers a nice range of activities for the young and not-so-young from Model Boot Camp (perhaps you’re living with the next Kimora?) and Kids Club to Basketball and Computer Classes. The department also has some spirited and fun special events throughout the year like Christmas for Kids, Jenningsfest, and the aptly named, “Best Thing I’ve Ever Tasted Festival.” Sounds yummerific.

This amazing place is where the Mighty Mississippi and Missouri Rivers meet. You can hike, bike, swim, fish, stare at wildlife… or walk around in wonder. If you decide you don’t want to leave, that’s fine too. The park has campsites available for your sleeping-under-the-stars pleasure. Education and Events About Town
Children of Jennings get educated through the Jennings School District. The district includes five elementary schools, one junior high school, and one high school and has won national awards. Jennings also pays their teachers well. They are the highest-paying school district in the state of Missouri, so if you’re a teacher, perhaps you should check out the classifieds here!
