Located near the southern border of the Chattahoochee National Forest, Jasper is ideal for those that enjoy the outdoors, since the park has 750,502 acres of land where opportunities for camping and hiking abound. In addition, to the northwest of Jasper is the Johns Mountain Wildlife Management Area, providing more options for nature lovers. Jasper is also located 50 miles north of Atlanta, allowing Jasper residents to enjoy small town life while remaining close enough to easily access the benefits of a larger metropolitan area.
