How is the nightlife in Hyannis?
As the largest of seven villages in Barnstable, Massachusetts, Hyannis is sometimes known as the "Capital of the Cape." As such, it has some of the liveliest nightlife in the area. The highest concentration of bars occurs along or near Main St in Hyannis, particularly between Sea St and Ocean St. These include Seaside Pub on Main, the Duck Inn Pub, and Timmy B's Bar and Grill. Three more watering holes lie at the intersection of Main St and Ocean St: Tommy Doyle's, 19th Bar Tavern, and Sophies Bar and Grill, and Black Cat Tavern is to the south of this drinking trifecta.

Is Hyannis a good place for younger people?
Yes, Hyannis is a very good place for younger people. In fact, its population, which amounts to about 24,000, consists mostly of young singles, although there are some seniors, families with school-age children, and some residents of mixed ages as well. Full of renters and urban in terms of population density, Hyannis, and the town of Barnstable, of which it is a village, has plenty of bars, restaurants, and coffee shops to satisfy the social urges of many younger people. Its location on the water and the fact that it's walkable also tends to appeal to the younger set (perhaps as it would to anyone).
