Arts and Entertainmen

Hopkinsville maintains a number of museums and art galleries for a different view and experience each season of the year, as many of their exhibits focus on local culture and history. The Hopkinsville Community College art gallery has a rotating exhibit each month as well as educational films and reading series. There are three major museums in town. One is the Pennyroyal, which features historic 20th century architecture and the life and works of Edgar Cayce, a late 19th century Hopkinsville figure who is locally deemed "the father of holistic medicine." The Charles Jackson Circus and Woody Winfree transportation museums are also great places to take kids for some local fun and learning.
