Parks and Pools

Outdoor activities are plentiful in Hinsdale. With so many parks and open areas, there is always something to see and do. Katherine Legge Memorial Park and Lodge is an excellent place to hold your wedding or other special events. The park is equipped with meeting rooms, ball fields, and playground areas. Picnic tables and shelters are also available for use. The Hinsdale Community Swimming Pool will allow you to spend some time in the water. Picnic areas and restrooms are located near the pool so that you have everything you need to enjoy your day.

Historic Downtown

Taking a tour of downtown Hinsdale will allow you to explore the history and architecture of the area. This downtown area is on the National Register of Historic Districts list and depicts much of the town’s past. With six different buildings on the National Register of Historical Places List, the town continues to maintain its historical roots. Spend the day viewing the Orland P.
