Smart Start Ducky Der

Bring the kids to enjoy the fun Smart Start Ducky Derby, the annual festival that fills the streets of Henderson with plastic ducks swimming on a stream of water. Children will have a great time at the bounce house. They will also have a chance to help staff at a firehouse at the Henderson Fire Department. Bring your appetite, as there will be plenty of hot dogs, funnel cakes, barbecue, and snow cones to fill everyone’s bellies. Feel good as you support this fundraiser, held by FGV Smart Start, who supports programs to benefit young children and their families.

Summer Theatre Camp

Need a break from your kids during the summer time? Try putting them through the Summer Theatre Camp. This is a day camp available for children from second to seventh grade, for the Broadway & Beyond program, and for seventh through twelfth graders, for the Teenworks program. The camps give children instruction in dancing, singing, and acting, as well as what it takes to put on a play, including learning how to do construction, lighting, and costume design. Give your kids an opportunity for them to express themselves creatively, gain confidence, and learn valuable life skills with kids their own at the Summer Theater Camp.
