Vermillion Falls Park

Expect hours of outdoor enjoyment when venturing to Vermillion Falls Park. A portion of the the river itself offers great trout fishing in certain parts, while the main attraction for most in this park are the majestic water falls. Granted, they are not as large as what you can find at Niagara, but they are still impressive, offering that therapeutic and relaxing feeling that comes from being near moving bodies of water. There are also plenty of areas to picnic and simply lounge about and enjoy being outdoors when visiting this park.

Hastings Family Aquat

During those hot days of summer, there is no better remedy to the heat than to head to the Hastings Family Aquatic Center to cool down. This venue is ideal for the entire family, with something to offer to just about everyone. Of course, you will find the large primary pool with its inviting crystal clear water, along with slides and the like that the kids will certainly enjoy. This aquatic center also offers various different programs, including family swim time and a tee night. Locals can also rent the venue for private functions like birthday parties.

East Second Street Co

A walk through the East Second Street Commercial Historic District is almost like a trip through time. This downtown area features 35 buildings constructed in the late 19th century. Architectural stylings, such as roof parapets, are easily identifiable and provide a distinctive allure to the area. This is especially true with the old-style large window display fronts that were common in a bygone era. Of course, this is a commercial district, which means shopping. Be sure to enjoy the various offerings that are along the street, as well as their close proximity that makes walking through this shopping district a breeze.
