I've got dogs. What are the best places in Haltom City for being outdoors with pets?
One of the best places for being outdoors with dogs in Haltom City is the city's off-leash dog park. Gateway Ball Dog Park has separate areas for small and large dogs, picnic stations, watering fountains for humans and dogs, and waste bags. There are other parks in Haltom City where you can bring your pets, such as Haltom Rd Park, Little Fossil Park, and Fossil Creek Park, but dogs must be kept on leash in these areas. One of the largest parks in the region is North Park, located on the north side of the city and adjacent to North Richland Hills City Park. Lake Worth Lake and Eagle Mountain Lake to the west also provide some green space.

Are there any quiet neighborhoods in Haltom City?
Yes. Denton Hwy / Glenview Dr is one of Haltom City's quieter neighborhoods. With mostly single-family, smaller homes, this neighborhood lies on the northeastern corner of the city. There are a few parks and lakes in the area also. It is, however, still urban in terms of population density, so it's not as quiet as most suburban or rural areas would be.
