To encourage community involvement and raise city spirit, the city offers the large Gurnee Days festivities. The vibrant celebration offers a family-friendly event with activities designed to accommodate both young and old. Funded by local businesses, the event takes place every August in the Village Center. Each year a different theme is used to take the excitement up a notch. Some of the activities include a parade, children’s games, stage events, and model shows. A variety of food vendors are also part of the event so you can enjoy a meal or quick snack during the celebration.
