Appreciate Local Flav

The Greenville Museum of Art is a wonderful attraction in Greenville that provides and promotes visual arts through exhibitions, collections, and education. The museum receives over 14,000 visitors a year and hosts several lectures and programs, making the museum a center that is both visually stimulating and culturally educational. Since its early, humble start as the Women’s Club Art festival in 1935, the museum has steadily grown in both size and importance throughout the years. In 1986, the museum received accreditation by the American association of Museums and is now a cultural highlight of Greenville that offers several exhibits throughout the year and hosts local artwork of all types.
