This 54-piece orchestra is your top source for high quality classical entertainment in Glens Falls. Led by Maestro Charles Peltz, the Glens Falls Symphony performs four concerts each year. To help get you into the holiday spirit each winter, it also puts on an extra Holiday Pops concerts in December. The Adirondack Balloon Festival in Glens Falls is the East Coast's largest and oldest hot air balloon festival. Set against the gorgeous Adirondack Mountains, the sight of these balloons taking to the sky is a sight that you will not want to miss. The Adirondack Balloon Festival is held for four days each September, with balloons launched every day. The festival also features lots of musical performances, craft fairs, food vendors, and more. For an experience you will never forget, you can even book a ride in one of the balloons that will take flight at the festival.
Third Thursday Art Wa
To bring the community of Glens Falls together and promote the work of local artists, Art in the Public Eye (APE) holds the Third Thursday Art Walk each month. APE is a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing the public with access to the arts through public exhibits and cultural activities. Come and experience the wealth of artistic talent that exists right here in Glens Falls. The Art Walk features artist demonstrations and live theatrical performances.
