A Community for Child
Developing young people is a clear priority in Glendale Heights. It has a preschool and after school programs for school-age children, closely tailoring its offerings to provide developmentally appropriate and fun activities. Such activities include academic enrichment, art projects, sports, and local and extra-local field trips. There are basketball, football, and cheerleading teams for youth, providing a strong social anchor between young adults and the rest of the community. Additionally, Glendale Heights Spring Break Sports Clinics provide a safe and fun place for children and youth to socialize, play, and develop their athletic skills while school is out of session.
Glendale Lakes: Golf
Glendale Lakes Golf Club broadens recreational activity and events to include more than play on its full 18-hole course. The course itself boasts a championship design and has been chosen many times by locals and professionals alike for scheduled outings as well as for tournaments. The Club has a scenic room overlooking the golf course; it can accommodate events for up to 250 people. On top of offering a mid-priced Americana-themed menu, Glendale Lakes Restaurant offers catering for weddings, baby showers, and other large-scale events scheduled that take place in the club’s events room, such as business meetings and parties.
