Forest Park

Its location squarely between Queens and Brooklyn, Glendale is not a place where you would immediately think you will have a lot of access to nature. This would be an incorrect assumption though due to Glendale's Forest Park, a mixture of natural and manmade park land that runs the length of the neighborhood. The park has 500-plus acres of land shot through with beautiful hiking trails so that the people of Glendale can easily spend a day communing with nature in the heart of the city. The park also has a variety of sports fields such as tennis courts and bocce courts.
