El Camino Community C

All are guaranteed a great education at El Camino College. El Camino offers a full range of classes at an excellent price, allowing many the benefit of an education at a price they can afford. The college also has one of the best forensics programs in the country, even beating four-year colleges in national rankings. Some college facilities are also open to the public so that they can help enrich the community. A great example of this is the El Camino College Center for the Arts, where locals can take in top-quality performances at the college's Marsee Auditorium.

Gardena Jazz Festival

Jazz lovers flock to the Gardena Jazz Festival, a yearly event packed to the brim with exceptional jazz musicians. Held every year in August, the festival features talents, such as Eric Darius, Jazz in P!nk, Lao Tizer, Marcus Johnson, and Jimmy Reid. The entire community chips in to make the festival a success, with many local business helping sponsor the event. In addition to that, a large number of locals volunteer to help make sure everything runs smoothly by operating the festival gates, selling souvenirs, and running the first aid tent. The Gardena community comes together to be sure the festival is fun for everyone.
