For a once in a lifetime experience involving nature, stop by the Sandsage Bison Range & Wildlife Area. The range was first established as a game preserve in 1916 under President Woodrow Wilson. The range spans over 3,760 acres and was formally known as the Finney Game Range. The range allows guests to get a unique glimpse at a prairie ecosystem and is home to a specialized plant community. The oldest known bison herd in the state is also located on the range. Visiting the range will allow you to view large, beautiful animals in their natural habitat.
The Big Pool
