Located right alongside the city borders is the scenic and solitary Lake Neatahwanta. This small manmade lake is used mostly for recreational purposes in the late spring and summer months, and also has some great hiking and biking trails that ring the shoreline. The city even went as far as building a public campground, football and softball fields, waterfront area, pavilions for picnics, and more. You can find most of the town relaxing by the shore on a hot summer day, and it is a great way to decompress after a long week in the office.
Fulton may be small, but what they lack in size they make up for in passion for their city. That is why they have done everything they can to fund and develop the Fulton City School District, and now are proud to say they currently operate six top-notch schools. With four elementary schools, a middle school, junior high, and high school, they have the kids of Fulton covered from kindergarten through 12th grade. There are also private prep schools nearby, with Falley Seminary being the largest and most well known. Education is important and, here in Fulton, they take it very seriously.
