Galveston County children that live in Friendswood attend Friendswood Independent School District (FISD), and students in Harris County usually attend Clear Creek Independent School District (CCISD). FISD includes two public elementary schools and two public middle schools. CCISD includes three elementary schools and one middle school that serve the Friendswood area. All Friendswood teens that attend public school finish their secondary education at Friendswood High School.
