On the east side of town by I-94 is a slew of watering holes, including Bowery Bar and Grill, Mulligan's Irish Pub and Grill, and Buckhorn Tavern. Most other bars are scattered across town, although two are adjacent to each other at the intersection of St Martins Rd and Church St: Wild Breed Saloon and The Landmark. Is Franklin a good place for younger people?
With a population of about 35,000, Franklin is a city in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. Located 9 miles from downtown Milwaukee, Franklin was named the 90th best place to live in the United States by CNN/Money and Money magazine in 2007. Despite its proximity to a major metropolitan area, however, Franklin is most popular with families with children; a full 37 percent of Franklin residents are between the ages of 36 and 54, while another 23 percent falls below the age of 18. That leaves 19 percent over the age of 55 and 21 percent between the ages of 18 and 34. Franklin's suburban nature doesn't make it the best place, therefore, for young people seeking other young people, or many after-dark options.
