Texas Star Golf Cours
Highly ranked by national media outlets, the award-winning Texas Star Golf Course is a 275-acre, world-class venue that serves as a community gathering spot for Euless as well as a tourist draw for the city. Eighteen holes of challenging golf in a pristine manicured locale is what you will find here. Euless residents, however, often make the trip to the city's northeast side simply to catch up with friends, enjoy an evening of fine dining, or to have Sunday brunch in the Texas Star's Raven's Grille, the country club-style restaurant that serves up top-notch fare, and always with Texas hospitality.
Euless honors its beginnings and community spirit through the city-managed Heritage Park, a 4-acre historic center where three buildings of importance in Euless's history have been dutifully preserved. The city, like many 18th and 19th century towns, got its start as a single homestead, constructed in 1879 by the Euless family near what is now Main Street. While the community grew, it was slow going. Regardless, Elisha and Julia Euless are figures of grand importance in the city's history, and the original Texas home of Julia (Trigg) Euless, the Himes Log House, is among the buildings preserved at Heritage Park.
