Museum of Outdoor Art

The Museum of Outdoor Arts (MOA) manages public art collections and displays through the city of Englewood and the Denver Metro Area. With its headquarters and indoor galleries in the city's Civic Center, Englewood residents have unprecedented access to the collection vaults, public programs, and six indoor galleries. CityCenter Englewood is the locale of the MOA's outdoor galleries, with more than a dozen sculptures gracing the grounds at any one time. Build your appreciation for public art through a leisurely, self-guided tour of the galleries, or join the MOA for one of its arts immersion programs.

Recreation Center

Staying active and healthy in the long winter months is made simple through memberships and day passes at the state of the art Englewood Recreation Center. This huge fitness and recreation center combines the facilities and required equipment for nearly all sports, workouts, and fitness programs under a single roof. The center also offers classes and other activities for all ages on a regular schedule. Whether looking for a way to shed those extra pounds in midwinter, or longing for a game of sand volleyball in a climate-controlled environment in summer, the Recreation Center is the place to be.

The Gothic Theatre

A relatively sedate, family-oriented community, Englewood does not have the most happening nightlife scene. However, there are a few gems available for enjoying a night out on the town that includes some live music, dancing, and a few drinks. The Gothic Theater is the best among them. This live concert venue serves up excellent customer service in addition to providing a perfect spot for live performances: Intimate with good acoustics. It is not uncommon to see big names in the regional and indie music scenes play here, and the place has a relaxed atmosphere with a full bar.
