Dining in Eldersbury

Just because Eldersbury is a small community, this fact does not mean that they have to sacrifice top notch and delicious food. There are many restaurants and bars in town that support a happening nightlife and growing foodie scene. A favorite amongst locals, except for vegans and vegetarians, is Smokey's Barbecue Restaurant, an eatery which offers barbecued and smoked meats paired with traditional southern sides. For a more upscale option, many locals and visitors choose to visit Osaka Hibachi Grill and Sushi Bar. At Osaka, the Japanese fare is simply delicious and watching the chefs prepare the food on table side grills is almost as satisfying.

Liberty Reservoir

It is hard to feel much further from the city than when floating on the placid waters of the Liberty Reservoir and fishing for bass or bluegill. The Reservoir provides drinking water for the citizens of Baltimore, but it also offers a wide array of recreational opportunities for the people of Eldersbury. Aside from being a fishing hot spot, there are trails around the rim for hiking or horseback riding as well as unpaved roads up into the forested area where bow hunting is allowed in season. Just do not be tempted to take a dip, as the police patrol to ensure that nobody is contaminating the water.
