Mardi Gras

To truly experience the culture of El Centro, be sure to attend the Mardi Gras Light Parade & Street Festival each winter. The festival takes place in February and is designed to recreate a real New Orleans Mardi Gras. A lighted parade runs through the downtown area and is adorned with the traditional colors of purple, green, and gold. The street fair is full of vendors, artists, and food establishments to ensure that you have everything you need to enjoy your time here, while remaining in awe of the intricate costumes, glittery masks, and wonderful music.

El Centro Outdoors
