Need some fresh air? With plenty of parks, East Point has lots of open space for residents to get moving and grooving outside. Visit Adams Park for its swimming pool, picnic shelters, playground, athletic fields and courts, and covered pavilions for picnicking, partying, or good conversation. (You provide that.) Check out the nearby Cascade Springs Nature Preserve for a little history with your fresh air. This is one of the oldest forests in the area and is where the Battle of Utoy Creek was fought, so you're walking on historical grounds. History buffs can also explore the rich history of this area by visiting the East Point Historical Society. Even if you're not a history ""buff,"" check it out. Admission to the museum is free, so what do you have to lose?

The city offers a great number of activities for kids up to seniors in their recreation center, their 18-acre sports facility, and a bicycle race-track. Got a sports-lover in the fam? Who knows?
