There is some beautiful landscape in Eagleville. If you're looking for ways to get outside and enjoy the Great Outdoors, you will not have to look far. The lovely Evansburg State Park is a wonderful place to get a little outside play time in. The Skippack Creek is in the park, which is great for fishing. There are also meadows, open fields, woods, picnic areas, and plenty of trails. There is even a golf course in the park. What isn't here? Bored people, that's what! Go hunting, biking, hiking, horseback riding, or stay the night and sleep under the stars. There are tons of ways to enjoy this massive state park. The Norristown Farm Park is another gem in Montgomery County. With 690-acres, a trout nursery, working farm, pavilions, historical structures, and trails, this is another playground for outdoor lovers of every type. Pack the binoculars if you like searching for feathered friends, butterflies, and critters because there is plenty to see here. The park's motto is ""Preserve, Protect, and Promote"" and that makes for some might fine wildlife viewin'. Like a little history with your outdoor-experience? Maybe a little bit of an odd request, but it's easy. Valley Forge is in your backyard. Take a tour, explore it on your own, or go during one of their special events on this 3,600-acre slice of history. Visit their website for more info on this amazing historical site. The Montgomery County Correctional Facility is in Eagleville. The facility is for both men and women and many residents of Eagleville are employed by the facility.
