Nationally Recognized

The Dyersburg Regional Medical Center (DRMC) provides nationally recognized quality healthcare for the area. This hospital was one of only 620 hospitals to be named “Top Performers on Key Quality Measures” by The Joint Commission in 2010. This inclusive facility offers everything that a patient could need, including surgical rooms, emergency rooms, wellness checkups, and more than 20 specialist practitioners to treat any and all issues. To help residents become more familiar with the services offered, DRMC also publishes a quarterly newsletter called “The Health Connection” and archives all old issues as PDFs for public access.

Famous Food and Drink

For those people looking for a quiet night out, a good bottle of wine, and a delicious charcoal-grilled steak, pay a visit to Abe’s Rib Eye Barn. This local establishment was featured in the 2008 edition of “Treasures of Tennessee and Kentucky” and lives up to its reputation and then some. If all you want is a snack, biscuit, or scone and a cup of premium coffee, The Java Café is the perfect place for you. They have delicious food, live music, free wireless Internet, and a comfortable place to relax with the newspaper or a good book.
