  • What's a good neighborhood for families in Duncannon?

Good neighborhoods for families hinge on safety and high-quality public education. However, as Duncannon's population is only 1600, there aren't too many neighborhoods to choose from. In addition, Duncannon's crime rate of 18 per 1,000 residents is near the average for all cities and towns of all sizes in America. Since the same schools serve the whole town, education doesn't play a huge role in differentiating neighborhoods. Families looking at Aberdeen should choose whether they want to live downtown, in a more suburban area, or in the more rural parts of Aberdeen. The suburban and rural areas generally offer more yard space for children to play.

  • Does Duncannon have a good school system?
