For the Love of Dogs
Our four-legged friends are just as much a part of our families as our children or significant others, so living in a community where that is recognized is important. The Friends of Doylestown Dog Park is not just a park. It is a community for pet lovers all over the city. You must take part in an orientation and register your dog to be part of the park community, and in doing so, you are linked with other pet lovers in your the area. Throughout the year, various activities and contests take place, adding to the bonding experience between you and your pet.
Each year Doylestown plays host to a variety of activities, festivals, and events. Every month you will find something new and usually holiday specific for that time of year. Through the winter holiday months, you can take part in the community parade, snow sculpture contests, and the Annual Holiday Exhibit. The Holiday Exhibit is hosted at the historic Mercer Museum and showcases decorated trees and beautiful decor that displays what it was like during the holidays around the World War II era. Immerse yourself in all that Doyslestown has to offer by taking part in one of these festivals
