Museums and History i
History buffs will truly enjoy Ellwood House, which was originally built as a private residence in 1879. Ellwood House has been listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Homes since 1975. There are four actual buildings, which include the Water Tower, Carriage House, Museum House, and Little House. The house is significant because it pays homage to Isaac Ellwood, who is credited with creating barbed wire. You will find an eclectic mix of different architectural styles that can be seen throughout the four buildings of Ellwood House.
