Does Deerfield have a downtown area where a lot of people walk around?
Yes. In 1998, the town demolished much of the old, outdated Deerfield downtown area--the Deerfield Commons shopping center, originally built in the 1950s--and replaced it with a new outdoor shopping district, Deerfield Square. Deerfield Square includes office and merchandising space, as well as an outdoor plaza. Deerfield residents can also attend free concerts held across the street from Deerfield Square.
