River Rouge

On its way to Detroit, the River Rouge runs through Dearborn Heights. Before leaving the city, however, the Ecorse River splits off from the River Rouge. This provides several miles of beautiful riverbank views throughout the city. It is along the banks of these rivers that many beautiful public parks have been created. Just north of Dearborn Heights is River Rouge Park. This over 1,000-acre park is technically owned by the city of Detroit, but people from Dearborn Heights and other neighboring areas are welcome to picnic on its lush grass or walk or bike along its beautiful paths.

Join the Moose Family

Moose or not, everyone is welcome to Lodge 1795's annual festivals and community events throughout the year. From an annual Taste of Italy night to weekly Karaoke, there is always something going on at the Moose Lodge. Who knows? Maybe you will end up wanting to join the Loyal Order of the Moose or Women of the Moose yourself. But do not worry, everyone is welcome to enjoy their special events. So, do not miss out on their delicious bratwurst and sauerkraut at the annual Oktoberfest celebrations that celebrates German heritage in all its festive glory.

Moo Cluck Moo

When you are craving a quick burger, fries, and shake, then there is no place better to go than Dearborn's Moo Cluck Moo. This local burger joint is universally loved throughout Dearborn Heights. Best of all, Moo Cluck Moo prides itself on using the freshest ingredients to create the best possible food for all guests to enjoy. So, all you have to decide is if you want a "moo" or a "cluck" and then savor your meal. Oh, and make sure to add on a side order of garlic fries and a milkshake, of course.
