Blossom Music Center
Whether you like to rock out to heavy metal or sip wine to 17th century classics, the Blossom Music Center is one of the best outdoor music and entertainment venues in the area. This center offers both pavilion and lawn seats for a wide range of musical performances, both current and classic. Popular past concerts included Maroon 5, Journey, the Goo Goo Dolls, and Matchbox 20. Blossom is also the summer concert venue for the Cleveland Orchestra. Just remember that this is an outdoor pavilion, so if you purchase lawn seats, prepare for the weather.
Break away from the average restaurant scene to try the delicious wine and food at Sarah's Vineyard. This vineyard offers seasonal food and wine year round, with both indoor and outdoor seating during the summer. When you arrive at the restaurant, you begin by ordering your food and drinks at the bar. After taking your wine back to your table, you can wait for your food to be brought for a host of delectable delights. For live entertainment, make sure to visit on Wednesday music nights, which take place November through April.
Spelunking in Mary Ca
After taking in the breathtaking views of the Cuyahoga Falls, those seeking some more adventure should head on over to Mary Campbell Cave. This rock shelter formed after years of water passing through the porous sandstone eroded the shale. To get to the cave, you will have to take the Gorge Trail through Gorge Park. You will then find the cave located on the north wall of the gorge that overlooks the Cuyahoga River. After marveling at the enormous rock structure, make sure to check out the small plaque in the center of the gcave, which gives some historical background regarding its name.
