Culver City Parks

With over a dozen different park facilities in Culver City, a day at the park is easy to plan. The neighborhood parks are situated all throughout the city, making it easy for residents to access one close to home. Many of the parks offer different activities for Culver City residents. Some of the most popular are after-school programs for children to enjoy. The majority of the parks have a playground set up and provide ample areas for biking, walking, and picnicking. The Boneyard is open to the dogs of the community, and Carlson Park is home to some public theater during the summer months.

Fiesta La Ballona

Culver City plays host to the Fiesta La Ballona Festival, also known as a party in the park. For an entire weekend in August, Veterans Park is transformed into a must-see spot in Culver City where Fiesta-goers can enjoy live entertainment and carnival rides. In addition to the entertainment, the party showcases local artists, local food, and a beer and wine garden. The whole weekend is set up for the community to come together while relaxing and enjoying all the festival has to offer. With the event being free, you do not have to spend a lot of money to get out and support the community.
