The California State Prison at Corcoran and the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility are both in Corcoran. The Corcoran State Prison is actually the state's largest and employs a large percentage of the people who live in Corcoran. The prison is well known because it was home to several infamous inmates like Charles Manson and Juan Corona.
