For three days each August, Corbin comes alive at its annual NIBROC festival. If you did not catch that, NIBROC is Corbin spelled backwards and this festival serves as a way to celebrate the town and its community. Schools in Corbin are closed on Thursday and Friday to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to attend this fun event and take part in its family-friendly activities. Some of the festival's most traditional events include the Miss Nibroc Scholarship Pageant, carnival rides, a car and motorcycle show, craft booths, a 2K run/walk, and lots of delicious local food.

The Harland Sanders Cafe was renovated and reopened in 1990 as a museum. Here, visitors can learn about the interesting history behind America's favorite fried chicken. You can even get a look at the kitchen where Sanders first developed the KFC secret recipe.
