Coos Bay is a city full of entertainment and opportunities. With so much to see and do, you will always be delighted with a day out on the town. If you enjoy art, be sure to stop in at the Coos Art Museum. Located downtown, the museum first opened its doors in 1950. The building in which the museum is housed was once the original post office and has been restored to retain its charm. Various exhibits and events are found inside, all of which relate to the city’s past and the artistic world.

The venue hosts concerts, plays, and other local events at various times throughout the year. First opened in 1925, the theater reflects the Egyptian Revival style that once popular at the time. It is also listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The Egyptian Theatre works to bring the community together while providing an entertainment venue for the citizens of Coos Bay.
