National Infantry Museum

<p>The National Infantry Museum can be found near Fort Benning, inside of Columbus. The museum shows the history of various infantry forces of the United States Army. The museum is quite large, listed as being over 190,000 square feet, on a plot of land of over 200 acres. Behind the museum, there is a graduation ceremony each week for Fort Benning graduates who are ready to take their posts in the Army. Each solider is required to visit the museum before they are eligible to graduate. The museum holds various historical artifacts from a number of military campaigns and is frequented by locals as well as tourists.</p>

Peachtree Mall

<p>The PeachTree Mall is one of the major shopping districts for the entire Columbus metro area. The only other shopping mall that can rival its size and various offerings is Columbus Park Crossing. The mall has been open almost forty years, and since its inception, numerous amenities have been added. These amenities include a food court and various department stores such as J.C. Penney, Dillard's, and Macy's. The PeachTree Mall is quite popular with the locals and is frequented on a regular basis by shoppers who are looking to have a nice day out.</p>
