Is Collierville famous for any kind of restaurant or food in particular? What's the local favorite?
Tennessee is best known for its southern-style cuisine, soul food, and tasty barbeque, but the unexpected local favorite eatery in Collierville has to be the Thai restaurant known as Jaja's River Kwai. Situated on Washington Street, many consider Jaja's to be the best Thai cuisine in greater Memphis. Tucked in the corner of a Collierville shopping center, the tiny, family-owned Jaja's River Kwai serves fresh and homemade dishes in a casual, family-friendly atmosphere. The simple menu offers traditional Thai cuisine like pad thai, yellow curry, and of course, Jaja's famous egg rolls. Top off your meal with a bowl of the restaurant's homemade coconut gelato- yum!
