Wharton Esherick Muse

The Wharton Esherick Museum is a great place to learn the history of one of the country's most famous artists. Wharton Esherick was a 20th century sculptor who mostly worked mostly with wood. His hilltop studio still remains in Collegeville and is considered a National Historic Landmark. Over 200 pieces of his work are on display at the museum and the building itself has been preserved. Tours are given on a scheduled basis and special events often take place at the venue. A visit to this facility will allow you to view art by one of the most influential designers of the century.

Food vendors and beer gardens help whet your whistle and keep your stomach full. Be sure to browse the local craft booths to purchase goods made by area artisans.
