The Clearfield City Skate Park allows the youth of Clearfield to burn off steam and connect with each other. Located at the city's Fisher Park, this at-your-own-risk skating area serves as an outlet for skateboarding and bicycling enthusiasts. It features two bowls for skating and provides 14,000 square feet of playing room for both experienced and beginning skaters and bikers. The facility is open almost 24 hours a day and provides lighting after dark, ensuring that visitors can gain access no matter when they wish to skate. It also provides an area for spectators who do not skate to enjoy watching the sport.
Clearfield offers two trails for biking and walking. The first, the Clearfield Canal Trail offers more than 3 miles of paths. Currently, this Canal Trail follows part of the Weber Canal and intersects two major highways. The city plans to expand the trail in order to make it more appealing for bikers and walkers. The second pathway, the Rail Trail, is part of the 25-mile Denver and Rio Grande Western Rail Trail. This paved pathway allows for walking or biking through several Utah cities, such as Clearfield and Clinton as participants enjoy beautiful views and exercise.
